
Who is this man? Well, in an interview done by the German newspaper "Berliner Zeitung" he's Levon Aronian - Master of Conversational Confusion.
I've seen interviews with him before that seemed to wander off on tangents but my first impression was that he was nervous. However, given his outspokenness in
this current interview I think the jury should still deliberate.
Case in point ... what exactly is his opinion of women in chess?

the best chess players are the most emotional ones."
Maybe I'm just really unclever but I fail to see the point. In the article he also proclaims chess as closer to art than logic. Given his contradictory statements I'd deny that I was logical too. What you're hearing from Aronian seems to be an eccentric opinion.
Chess is full of interesting characters and Aronian is currently topping the crazy chessplayer chart.
