nice game
@2:29:00 If Artemiev had brought his queen over to back up his rook before exchanging rooks, couldn’t he have initiated a checkmate sequence on Magnus?
This bath of Artemiev by Carlsen makes a mockery of the player stats. How can a player 2755(rapid) have superior stats to Carlsen 2842(rapid), unless you have built your stats playing lower ranked players vs Carlsen building his stats constantly playing elite players.
All would be great if they didn't keep commenting based on the evaluation.
Their commentary is absolutely atrocious.
GOAT👑
Im gonna Miss U David . Thnk u . Magnus U beauty ♥️
Firouzja participated in 7 tournaments and cannot qualify for the final.
God bless artemiev. All good luck to him. He can be very proud of himself.
I wished artemiev won even though i like magnus
Hello Kaja 😍😍😍
Honestly, chess is so much more fun with amazing analysis and commentary. Thank you for the two amazing analysts and the great host!🙏
beautiful analysis, congrats
1:13:36 Artemiev surprised Magnus with an anti-Sicilian on move 2–not opening Black's side of the c-file nor White's side of the d-file. After 6.Kf1, Magnus looks like he has to re-set his strategies/expectations. He spent more than 4 minutes before playing 6…Nc6.
Edit: I did find one game where a very young Artemiev (2010) played KIA against the Sicilian (B20) where Black was a much higher rated opponent. It began: 1.e4 c5 2.d3 Nc6 3.g3 d5 4.Nd2 Nf6 5.Bg2 g6 6.Ngf3 Bg7 7.O-O O-O 8.c3 e5 9.Qc2 … That game ended in a draw after 50 moves in a QvQ-endgame with 3 pawns each.
That blonde comentator does not have a clue, who is with me??????7
I love to watch Magnus Carlsen play
