  1. I've gone on a 3 month journey playing this opening with black as often as possible. The big thing is the C4 pawn, if that's not played the game is very different, but still a very potent opening and helps develop black pieces quickly

  2. Hey Igor I follow regularly your videos and it helps a lot on my chess games thank you…
But I loss to stock fish when his second move was bishop to e2…

  3. I like how people who read others comments and then steal there comment and try to make it there own.
Yeah my dad or grandpa taught me and I beat him. He was so proud. How many of yall gonna steal that comment

  4. What if white does not take the black pawn in the second move, and move the king's pawn to e5? In that way, white could move d4 to support e5!

  5. After trading the Q's on D4, white can castle queen side. Also, white did not have to move Q to block the N pin, he can go to C1. Am I missing something here?

  6. Thanks for this. I saw this video about 2 weeks ago and have tried this every time I play black. It doesn't always work out as planned but I finally have a black opening now I enjoy and give white a hard time

  7. I mean, you should at least share the best response from white so people know what they potentially get into. after 4. f3 Bf5 comes 5. g4 Bg6 and only then 6.c4 which the computer gives a +1.4 advantage to white for obvious reasons

  8. Nice video. There are two moves that I think are good for white. 3.Bb5 and 3.Be2 instead of 3.d4. Maybe you can make a video on these.

  9. In position at 7:10, I believe 11… Bg3 is prob the best continuation for Black. One computer gives another as 11… Nd3+ 12. Kf1 Nf2 13. Qd2 Nxh1 14. g4 Bd7 15. b4 Bf2 16. Nh3 h6 17. Nxf2 Nxf2 18. Be3 Nh3 and Black should win having a defendable position and being a rook up.

  10. Why would someone move pawn on D2 to D4? It's not helping the pawn in front of it. For the most times that I have played this line, opponent did not even move the pawn blocking the attack on king by bishop

  11. But what if white plays pawn to G4 to attack your rook at the beginning instead of white playing pawn to D4 ?

  12. Im super low level player and my opponents keep playing pawn to d5 instead of capturing and idk what the best counter is
